Thank You For Your Continued Sacrifice
We, the people of the United States, have freedoms and opportunities that aren’t shared by many of the people around the globe. That said – here’s a giant THANK YOU to the brave, honorable people who maintain these freedoms for our country and for each and every one of us. Families of veterans,THANK YOU for your sacrifices too.Unfortunately, we know a soldiers’ sacrifice doesn’t end when they return from the battlefield or when they retire from service. Far too many of our young men return with some sort of baggage.
“According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, an estimated 65% of veterans suffer from chronic pain and are twice as likely to die from an accidental prescription opioid overdose as non-veterans,” (dav.org). That’s not all, though.”A considerable number of veterans … have suffered traumatic brain injuries (TBIs)… about one in five….Other common problems include post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, problematic alcohol use, and thoughts of suicide,” (the sciencebehindit.com) The good news is there is hope.
Rob Van Dam’s Leading the Charge!
In a recent RVD Documentary titled Headstrong, Rob Van Dam discusses how concussions (CTEs) and Traumatic Brain Injuries from time in the ring have led him to the benefits of CBD. According to the National Library of Medicine, “CBD can…potentially provide treatment to enhance neuroprotection by reducing inflammation, regulating cerebral blood flow,” (NLM). Rob’s ALSO been an outspoken Marijuana Advocate for years. He has been turning to cannabinoids to self-medicate for a long-lasting “personal equilibrium.”
Don’t Take Our Word For It
We are not doctors, but according to article from health.harvard.edu, and the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) Animal studies, self-reports, and/or research in humans suggests CBD (again) may help with a variety of issues. Harvard medical health reported, “Marijuana has been known to provide considerable relief with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Furthermore, many military Veterans and doctors have reported considerable relief in their day to day life, and have been wanting more openness and legality to come for marijuana. While the effects and benefits of marijuana on PTSD only tend to last for a brief amount of time…, it can still be incredibly helpful to those who are struggling with PTSD on a daily basis.”
Changes to marijuana (MJ) and Hemp laws have opened the doors for more science, research and testing. Thus, the legal boundaries of CBD are changing across the nation. With the nation wide research collaboration beginning, hopefully the safety concerns will be put to rest soon. In the mean time, veterans, you can rest at ease with Zero THC CBD products. Zero THC = No Fear, the Heroes CBD
Zero THC Products
While many people have felt relief through CBD products, not all CBD companies are transparent or honest. Some companies claim their products or CBD can do and are something they’re not. Also, CBD can interfere with medications in your system. The key to remember is CBD is not a prescribed medication, and it does not replace medications, unless your doctor advises you to do so. Again, we are not doctors and cannot tell you what is best for you. Before you jump onto the CBD wagon, check with your doctor.
Even though most states have legalized medical marijuana, and CBD with less than .3% THC is legal, military personnel live by a more strict law. YUP, that’s right citizens. Military personnel live by Military law! They don’t even get to live by the freedoms they fight for until they retire.
Heroes, KNOW YOUR LAW
Again, we are not lawyers, but the military law says, “the use, possession, or distribution of marijuana and any product derived from or containing marijuana, including CBD, is illegal for all military members under Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ),” (jobs.mil). If you have questions or concerns, consult a lawyer. We don’t want you to taint your honorable service record.
Why All the Fuss
Because not all CBD companies are transparent or responsible, some products may contain more THC than is legal. Also, users may be unaware if you use CBD products with even legal traces of > 0.3 percent THC, THC can build up in your system over time. Built up THC equals a failed drug test. “The presence of THCV in the urine of an individual prescribed dronabinol or nabilone would suggest marijuana use,” (military law.com). But, don’t be discouraged. There is still hope. CBD products with ZERO THC remove the questionable component entirely. So veteran’s the take-away is this: reach for Zero THC CBD!
