5 Things to Know About WrestleCon

WrestleCon 2022

What is WrestleCon?

For the Wrestling fan WrestleCon is the apex of all events for the entire year, just as ComicCon is for any superhero or Avengers Fan, and Black Friday for any sales guru. If you love wrestling, this is a must on your bucket list. If you’re a Superfan, WrestleCon’s probably second only to Christmas. Imagine 200 plus professional wrestlers from all the eras of wrestling in one place for three to four days to meet and greet you, and that’s not all.

Generally, at these events, they break it up into four sessions with special musical performances, dream wrestling matches—featuring blasts from the past—all the stadium food and beverages you could ever handle, the Hall of Fame ceremony in the same town, and the Super Bowl of wrestling wrapping up the weekend—WrestleMania.

When did WrestleCon Originate?

You might be wondering, “Why haven’t I heard of this before?” The First WrestleCon took place April 5th through the 7th, of 2013 at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. WrestleCon is not quite as old as ComicCon, which began in New York in 1964. However, WrestleMania made its debut today thirty-seven years ago on March 31st, 1985. The First WrestleCon WrestleMania tag team event ended with WrestleMania 29 which featured a host of Hall of Fame superstars and featured wrestling shows from: Evolve, Shimmer, Combat Zone Wrestling, Dragon Gate USA, and Chikara.

What is Rob Doing this Year at WrestleCon

In perfect RVD Fashion, last year, Rob blew the lid off wrestling protocol when he gifted Vince McMahon RVDCBD Raw Rolling Papers at his Hall of Fame induction. If you know Rob, he never follows mainstream. His path is his own, and that’s why his fans love him! To see what he’s up to this year, find him. RVD will be at WrestleCon all four sessions to meet and greet his fans, sign autographs, take pics, and rub shoulders with his pals. If you’re looking for health and wellness tips or some great CBD, haul your ass to Texas and find him at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas.

If you miss him at WrestleCon, maybe you’ll catch him at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony or possibly see him at WrestleMania.

People may outgrow the ring, but the ring never grows out of them.
